Who is the girl behind Soulful Abode Mortgages

Well, hey there, you fabulous reader, you!

In case we haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, I'm Caitlin - your friendly neighbourhood mortgage wizard. Yep, I'm the go-to gal for all things mortgage magic - but hey, you probably already caught on to that, right?

Instead of diving headfirst into mortgage jargon, how about I take you on a little journey into my world and spill the tea on how Soulful Abode Mortgages came to be.

In a previous life, I was a passionate midwife, juggling between public and private hospitals, and even took part in the exclusive "endorsement club" with my own medicare provider number (fancy, huh?). I was all about community care in rural South Australia and even had a hand in shaking up midwifery care in our local hospital. But why the career switch, you ask?

Amidst the madness, I realized I had lost touch with myself. Work consumed me, and it was about time I took a step back to rediscover the real Caitlin and embrace my Core values. So, I bid adieu to the healthcare hustle, took a breather to focus on self-love, family time, and - plot twist - found myself knee-deep in property and finance books, podcasts and all things between. And just like that, a light bulb went off: why not turn my property passion into a full-blown career?

After some serious study sessions and hard work, I evolved into a mortgage guru. But fear not, my love for healthcare still burns bright! While I might have swapped scrubs for spreadsheets, my heart still sings for patient-(client)-centred care. And now, I'm here to cheer on our healthcare heroes as they journey towards homeownership, investment property and healthy home loans. Who knew mortgages could be this exciting, huh?
